York Regional Police are trying to identify three suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery outside a nightclub in Vaughan last month.

It happened at around 2 a.m. on July 24 outside a bar on Interchange Way.

Security video released by police Monday shows three men approaching another man in a busy parking lot in the area.

Police said the three suspects surrounded the man and one suspect punched the victim in the face, knocking the man to the ground.

While the victim is unconscious, police said the suspects proceeded to steal the victim’s cellphone and keys.

The suspects kicked the victim in the head before leaving the scene.

The victim, police said, was unconscious for close to four minutes before police arrived.

He was rushed to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

In an effort to identify the men involved, police have released video footage of the incident and photos of the suspects.

The suspects have been described by police as two white males and one black male who range in height between five-foot-ten to six-foot-two and all have muscular builds.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call York Regional Police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7441. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
