In 2011, A stolen snowplow leads Toronto police on a chase, crashing into several cars, an earthquake, originating in the American state of Virginia, is felt in areas across Ontario,  and another life altering event takes place in downtown Toronto where a new club called Bloke and 4th is born.

Bloke & 4th brought weekly parties that were cemented into the club culture of our city and it caught the eye of the owners of at the time legendary venue Gravity Sound Bar.

“Bloke’s been around since 2011 and, we feel, has been cemented into Toronto’s nightlife culture over it’s span. Since taking control of the venue in 2014 we’ve been fortunate to be host to some memorable events and unforgettable experiences.” said Nick Regina, partner at Bloke.

Fast forward to 2018 and this weekend marks the final weekend for this legendary venue, winner of last year’s “Best Upscale Nightclub” at the 17th Annual Toronto Nightclub Awards.

“We’re ready to start a new chapter at 401 King Street West.” says Mr. Regina.  “Over the next month we’ll be undergoing a renovation and rebrand, and presenting a brand new experience to, and for, the city. Guests can expect something deliberately different – and we invite everyone to stay tuned as we look forward to rolling out details for the new venue.”

With the recent changes to the transportation along King St W in Toronto, venues have to really get creative to attract clubbers from all over southern ontario.  It seems 401 King St is doubling down to provide our city with a world class destination to party.

“As a tribute to the shared sentiments and experiences inside Bloke – from the parties themselves, to the references in Tory Lanez and PartyNextDoor songs – we invite everyone to celebrate our legacy for one final weekend inside Bloke as we know it.”

Bloke will be shutting its doors after this weekend culminating with a final bash on Monday January 22nd.   Come see them one last time before it gets gutted and arrange your night by visiting
